Bandit Suprême is an ode to the game-changing fragrance, Bandit, launched by the house of Piguet in 1944.
Bandit Suprême opens with a bright, clean floral burst of galbanum and Tunisian neroli. Ambrox – a gray amber - then tames the sharp, spicy-ness of the flowers and emphasizes the petal-y qualities of orange blossom and jasmine. As the scent settles Muscenone, - a modern musk - imparts a cottony soft addictiveness to the typically aversive leather, patchouli and oakmoss notes. The end result is a linear formulation that is replete with contradictions as disruptive as they are appealing.
